We were called out in to clean the wool carpets for a client on the Royal Carpet and, as you can see from the photo, there quite a lot of bad coffee and mud stains to remove.
Wool carpets can be particularly difficult to work on as you are limited with the strength and pH of the detergents you can use (we always use woolsafe approved chemicals when working on wool carpets) and also with how vigorously you can work on the stains.
After quite a bit of spotting and gently working on the stains, we managed to bring the vast majority of them out either completely or lightened up enough not to draw the eye.
Wool loop pile carpet, pre-sprayed with Chemspec One Clean, agitated and extracted with Formula 90. Extra spotting with a neutral pH spotter was required.
